Before You Buy Checklist
Is YOUR child sitting safely?
Do as much research as you can before buying a child car seat
- Check the weight (kg and lbs) and height (feet and metres) of your child
- Find out which seats are/are not suitable for your child and your car/s
- Ensure that your chosen retailer has trained members of staff
- Ensure their trained member of staff will fit and check your seat (ask to see their qualifications)
- Only buy a seat which carries the ECE R44.04 mark
- Choose a seat which has simple and clear fitting instructions
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions completely
- NEVER buy a second hand seat
